These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ASTRO mobile application and astro16.com (together, the "Service"), provided by ASTRO16 LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
ASTRO is an astrology application offering natal-chart calculation, daily / weekly / monthly forecasts, AI-assisted chat, compatibility ("synastry") analysis, astrostyle recommendations and a habits tracker. Astrological content is provided for personal interest, reflection and entertainment.
2. Not Professional Advice
The Service does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions that may have legal, financial or health consequences. AI-generated answers may be inaccurate or incomplete; do not rely on them as the sole basis for any decision.
3. Eligibility & Account
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information; you may correct or delete it at any time.
4. Subscriptions & Payment
Premium features are available via auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through the App Store, Google Play, or our website (Stripe). Prices and renewal terms are shown before purchase. You may cancel renewal at any time in your store account or app settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Free trials, where offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
5. Refunds
App Store and Google Play refunds are governed by the relevant store's policies. For website purchases, contact info@astro16.com; we handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis in line with applicable law.
6. Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse the Service, attempt to access it by automated means, or interfere with other users.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive or harassing content.
- Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Do not use the Service to make decisions that require licensed professionals.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, content, trademarks and logos, is owned by ASTRO16 LLC or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g. chat questions, profile data). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use that content solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to share any content you submit.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any forecast, reading or recommendation will be accurate.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASTRO16 LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for legal, security or operational reasons, with reasonable notice where practicable.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
